John Thomas "Jack" Ball (13 September 1907–1976)[1] was an English footballer, who played for clubs including Southport, Manchester United, Sheffield Wednesday, Huddersfield Town and Luton Town. He was born in Banks, Southport, Lancashire.
At Sheffield Wednesday, he scored 14 goals in his first 17 games and went on to bag a total of 94 goals in 135 games.[1]
